2004 Brian Murch
Training Clinic
Multi-National champion trainer Brian Murch was at Sunsetfarm Arabians on Albuquerque, NM on September 18th to give a clinic on Starting, Riding Driving and Maintaining Country English and English Pleasure Horses. The clinic was sponsored by NMAHA. Brian has won three National Champion Open English Pleasure Championships in his 24 years in the business. Brian's father, Halsey Murch was a horse trainer , and Brian grew up on horse farms in Maine, Michigan, California and Florida, and it just seemed natural that he would follow in his father's footsteps with horse training as a career. Brian learned to be a horseman from his father, but at 17, he went to work for the best in the Arabian Industry, Lasma Arabians, and worked under Gene and Ray La Croix. Besides Lasma, Brian has also worked for Chestnut Hill Farms and Royal Oak Arabians and is currently at Strawberry Banks Farm in East Aurora, New York. The clinic was be filled with great information for those interested in saddle seat riding and breed driving. It will was open to Arabians, Morgans, Saddlebreds, National Show Horses and Hackney's.
